Teresa Crawford, Advocacy
Project,
was recognized for nurturing eRiders.net.
2003
Art McGee, Virtual Identity,
received the award for his selfless devotion to maintaining
the Circuit Riders listserve, moderating
it
after Tech
Rocks departed from their Circuit Rider overseer duties.
2004
Katrin Verclas and Allen Gunn, Aspiration,
were honored for creating Penguin
Days to bring eRiders and software developers
together to discuss Free and Open Source Software. Plus, they
were the only two non-recipients still in Philadelphia on the
day in question...
2005
Ungana-Afrika was recognized for providing innovative technology
support to NGOs in Southern Africa. With its emphasis on technology,
social justice, and community empowerment, the small staff
of Ungana-Afrika has taken the
principles of eRiding to innovative new levels with its trainings
and capacity-building workshops and innovative projects such
as those focusing on community radio and free and open source
software within an African context.

2006
Vladimir Petkov (aka Kaladan), Interspace, was
recognized for his efforts in spreading eRiding and supporting
eRider teams across the globe. Kaladan and his team at Interspace have
long been at the forefront of providing Open Source Solutions
to NGO's. With Kaladan's help, many Bulgarian
NGO's remained open and his model for migrating NGO's to Open
Source has been used by many other eRider organizations.
